ON 2,4-DICHLOROPHENOL (2,4-DCP)
(CAS #120-83-2)
EPA and OSHA are jointly issuing the attached advisory titled:
Chemical Advisory and Notice of Potential Risk: Skin exposure to molten
2,4-Dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) can cause rapid death. The substance, which is a
solid at room temperature, is a high production volume chemical feedstock used
to make herbicides and some other chemical products.
